As a Christian, you would do better
to use your brain to make a rational, logical and objective assessment of any
given teaching or doctrine than be beguiled with deceptive teachings and
doctrines to the destruction of your soul, all because, being engulfed in the
emotion of religiosity and piety, you waived your right to ask questions and
seek answers.
I
read the writings of Jude, John, Peter, James, the unknown author of Hebrews
and Paul and then i read the words of Jesus in the Gospels. The simplicity of
his words, depth of His teaching, intelligence in his approach and delivery,
style of confronting and disarming His opponents, outshines all of them. Indeed
'a greater than Solomon is here'.
Then the brethren immediately sent
Paul and Silas away by night to Berea. When they arrived, they went into the
synagogue of the Jews. These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica,
in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures
daily to find out whether these things were so. Acts 17:11
